I don't see pollution as a problem either. But I might think of an aquarium. I bought 2 pieces very cheaply on Ebay. The fish cannot swim in a barrel that still fits through the door, and I think that is not so species-appropriate. instead of PVC film, you can also use rubber film. This is much more durable and without PVC plasticizers. It costs a little more, but I would recommend it. We installed these in the beds and in the pond
